- The founder of Ferrari of Denver, 35+ years and counting!
Bill has always had a passion for exotic cars, especially Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferrari. One of his first jobs as an adult was working as a Rolls Royce mechanic. He moved to Denver in 1969 to work for Kumpf Motors, the Rolls Royce dealer at the time. He started his own service business in 1974, focusing on everything exotic. His first factory service franchise was Rolls Royce. The Rolls Royce franchise grew into a successful sales operation and in 1979 he acquired Maserati, Lotus and then the Alfa Romeo franchise, since he has added Ferrari and Bentley to this world class lineup. He built a new dealership at 1480 East County Line Road in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and moved into his first class facility in December 2001. Bill has been fortunate to have many loyal staff members train with him and remain with him for years, even several decades and it’s because he runs a great shop with a heart for excellent service. Bill is extremely dedicated to making his entire team feel that they are each the most important member of the team. He never uses the word “no.” Family life for Bill includes two kids and two grandkids. He loves taking them all for rides in his fun cars!
Mark E. Dismuke
- General Manager - 20 years experience
Mark joined Ferrari of Denver as the General Manager in July 2009. He lives in Lone Tree Colorado with his wife Amy, who has a killer tennis shot. They have 3 great children: Ann, recently married, has a Masters Degree in Education and is teaching at a local School District, Flinn studies Geoscience at Denison University and is a High School Lacrosse coach, and Wilkins (18) is an All American Lacrosse atttackman, and will attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland next year. Mark spent the majority of his impressionable years on the Continental Divide. Many of his years were spent on the ski hill or thinking about it. Skiing continues to be one of his passions. Mark began his career in the automotive industry here in Denver 20 years ago. He has enjoyed the benefits of working for such manufacturers as Porsche, Jaguar, and Volvo. Mark has attended the Snow and Ice FDE – Ferrari Driving Experience in Aspen and recently was instructed by the famous Belgian driver, Didier Theys, in six of the world’s most exotic Supercars. Didier pushed Mark to go considerably faster than he should ever have been allowed! In addition, Mark has taken instruction at both Bentley’s Power on Ice Programme in Finland and the Porsche Driving Experience to hone his skills behind the wheel. He had the thrill of making laps on the Gran Prix Autodromo Fernanda Pires da Silva track in Estoril Portugal. Mark has owned and had great experiences with many European cars. He took the store over nearly 4 years ago and made a few necessary changes. Changes include a few new faces, a large selection of the finest hand-selected inventory, a fresh new attitude, and a rejuvenated energy throughout the entire dealership. Mark attributes his success to building long term relationships, honesty and ignoring the current economic marketplace. He has been able to increase business exponentially even in the toughest economic times our industry has ever seen. He visits the Ferrari, Maserati and Bentley factory facilities several times during the year in order to ensure great working relationships with our partners overseas. In 2012 Mark was chosen as an Executive Board Member for the only Ferrari S.p.A. sanctioned Scuderia Ferrari Club in the United States, this is the pilot organization that all future US chapters will follow. He is honored to have been chosen from an elite few and is currently organizing Regional, National and International member events supporting the Ferrari Formula 1 Racing Team. Contact him directly for more club information or to learn about membership. When you are in the store make sure you introduce yourself to Mark; he is always open to hearing your new ideas, questions, comments and concerns. Email Mark at email@example.com
